The name makes sense now — Horizon Harvest. It’s not just coffee, it’s a feeling.
Horizon Harvest is part of a local coffee movement that began in 2019, evolving from supporting local farmers to becoming its own roaster under the Huean Hung Tor umbrella. Their mission centers on working directly with Nan coffee producers and empowering local agriculture through quality feedback loops and fair practices
Set within a small wooden house surrounded by greenery, the café offers both indoor and outdoor seating in a tranquil garden-like space. Guests often comment on its cozy, slow‑bar vibe—perfect for focused work or mindful relaxation
At the heart of Horizon Harvest is its specialty roasting operation. They roast their own beans and offer a curated selection of alternative brew methods like AeroPress, pour‑over, and more—ensuring each cup reflects both craftsmanship and clarity in flavor
Standouts on the menu include Pink Panther Blend—a medium‑light roast combining beans from Namki Village (Nan) and Mae Chan (Chiang Rai), offering tasting notes of rose, cherry, candy, butter, and chocolate. They also offer Geisha coffee from Doi Ching Farm, praised for complex floral and fruit notes
While they don't serve full meals, the café offers delightful desserts that pair well with their coffee. The atmosphere is unhurried, and the friendly baristas are happy to guide you through tasting choices based on your flavor preference
With strong Wi-Fi, several power outlets, and spacious seating options, Horizon Harvest is ideal for remote work, studying, or leisurely conversations. The quiet garden setting undisturbed by traffic or noise allows for focused moments with your brew
The café typically opens from around 08:00 or 09:00 until 17:00, with parking available on-site. A few reviewers note that drinks are reasonably priced—mostly under ฿100—making quality coffee accessible without breaking the budget
By actively sourcing from community farms and practicing small-batch roasting, Horizon Harvest plays a crucial part in uplifting local coffee producers. It’s a space where innovation meets responsibility, showcasing Nan-grown coffee on a broader stage
Not every café leaves a mark.
But Horizon Harvest does — not loudly, but slowly, like the aftertaste of a good roast.
If you're ever in Chiang Rai with time to spare, come here.
Bring your camera. Bring your thoughts.
And don’t forget to look up from your cup.
