Ta Prohm Kel was one of the 102 hospital chapels, some of which were already in existence, by King Jayavarman VII all over the empire.
Ta prohm Kel is located on the way from Angkor Wat to Angkor Thom, about 200 meters from the west entry gate of Angkor Wat. Ta Prohm Kel is a very small hospital chapel located in the Angkor Archaeological Park. IT is small but beautiful temple which is rarely visited by guests.
