Huay Tung Tao Lake (ห้วยตึงเฒ่า) Chiang Mai Thailand #SMSnotes

Entry is 50 baht per person, and in restaurants, 20 baht is paid per person.
The place is worth visiting in Chiang Mai

Sunbathing: Find a comfortable spot on the shore or bring a beach chair or towel. Soak up the sun's warmth, close your eyes, and listen to the gentle lapping of the water as you bask in the peaceful atmosphere.

It is a big space so it is very easy to find parking space. The toilet is not bad at all and there are a number of trails from easy to hard around the place. Enjoy.

here are many restaurants on the shore of the lake and the seafood is excellent, the prices of restaurants are cheap and the sessions are on a bamboo raft. There are also models of straw animals, as well as rice fields and a sheep farm.

We were there at around 10 am and a lot of huts were free, 2 hours later and nearly every hut was occupied.

Great place. You can sit in a wooden hut directly over the water, order food and drinks and relax.

A great place to chill. The restaurants are good. Afternoon beers are always nice here especially as the sun is setting down.

Beautiful spot to enjoy a morning or afternoon. There are bands (small bamboo huts) along the lakeside to sit and eat or drink in. Plenty of restaurants are available serving Thai food.

The lake is a great park, one can spend the day in, and a nice place for families with all the facilities.

The lake provides a serene and tranquil environment, perfect for relaxation. Here are some relaxing activities you can enjoy at the lake:

Reading: Bring your favorite book or e-reader and immerse yourself in a captivating story. Find a shady spot near the lake, sit back, and enjoy your reading time while being surrounded by nature.

Meditation and Yoga: The peaceful setting of the lake is ideal for practicing meditation or yoga. Find a quiet spot, lay out a yoga mat or towel, and engage in mindful breathing or gentle stretching exercises. Let the sounds and sights of the lake enhance your relaxation experience.
