Mae Fah Luang University, situated in Chiang Rai Province in northern Thailand, is named after the Princess Mother, Mae Fah Luang was the name given to her by the local people in Chiang Rai. It is an autonomous public university that was established under the Royal Charter, in 1998.

One of the most beautiful university campuses I have ever seen. Many acres of wooded campus with beautiful tranquility away from the noisy streets of Chiang Rai. Very good hilly area for walking and bicycling. Just lovely. Reminds me of Royal Holloway College London where I did my B.Sc. that was also a large wooded green campus.

A large university located near the hill. Romantic view to the lakes and forest around. Stadium is available in the university.
