High up in the mountain in Chiang Mai this is a trip worth taking. One of Thailand’s most beautiful temples with stunning views over the city. It can get crowded so arrive as early as you can. Take a baht bus or hire a motorcycle to get up here. There is a street food market at the bottom of the steps leading to the temple with great variety in offer at reasonable cost. Aim to spend a good half day here to soak in the atmosphere and explore the temple. Be careful when visiting this temple. The roads are steep up the hill. But once up there, it's really very nice! When you visit it, do not miss the chance of taking pictures on the staircase. It overlooks a lot of the mountains and village below.
This place presents a wonderful collection of Temple buildings with numerous Shrines, Buddha Statues and great views across Chiang Mai and beyond. Easy to spend a good hour here enjoying seeing everything on the site. Free to visit. Fabulous scenery and great place to make a wish! many Thai people coming here to make a wish and they got their wishes came true. But you have to walked inside in order to see that Buddha image. But if your wish come true you have to come back with at least 50 fresh jasmine garland.
Beautiful temple located at the top of the mountain. It’s totally worth to explore the national park that surrounds it. Not many foreigners know about that place so it’s nice to see locals hanging out.
